🎵🎤🎸 OUR FIRST SUMMER CONCERT IS APPROACHING AND WE'RE SO EXCITED!!!

Join us on Thursday, June 11 to enjoy music from FUZE Band, a Santana tribute band which also plays Classic Rock, Old School, Salsa and more!

This FREE concert is open to all! Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs & blankets.

📅 Thursday, June 11, 7PM - 8:30PM

📍Outdoor Amphitheater, Izaak Walton Reserve, 899 Jay Street, Elgin

Additional off-site parking is available at Huff Elementary School ( 801 Hastings Street, Elgin).

SUMMER CLEAN-UP OPPORTUNITY! Hanover Township Youth and Family Services (YFS) continues accepting donations for their Garage Sale Fundraiser.

Have any items you can donate? Acceptable items include anything ranging from housewares, games, decor, appliances, furniture, and more. Items for donation can be dropped off at the Youth and Family Services Department.

*NO CLOTHING DONATIONS PLEASE!*

The YFS Operation Snowball Team's Annual Garage Sale Fundraiser will be on Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6. Proceeds will be used to help YFS youth leaders attend a statewide leadership conference on July 12 - 16 at Eastern Illinois University.

FACT FRIDAY: In Fiscal Year 2026, Hanover Township's Stars-N-Stripes Café served OVER 23,411 meals!

Located in the Township Senior Center, the café offers a daily choice of two different hot meals or an entrée salad served with fruit and milk. No reservations are required; no residency requirement!

📆 Monday - Friday (11AM - 1PM)

📍 240 S. IL Route 59, Bartlett

Suggested donation of $5 per meal for patrons over 60, $8 for all others.

Trustee Essick, Administrator Barr, and staff attended this morning's annual Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce Breakfast with Hanover Park Mayor Rod Craig and Bartlett Mayor Dan Gunsteen to get the latest news from the villages.

Hanover Township Emergency Services (HTES) Unit is trained to respond to a wide range of emergencies and non-emergency events.

They assist primary emergency responders or operate independently in times of natural and man-made disasters.

HTES officers are trained to respond to and assist with:
• Scene Security
• Traffic Control
• Drone Operations
• Emergency Scene Lighting
• Firefighter Decontamination
• Search and Rescue
• First Aid Services
• SCBA Tank Refill
• Storm Cleanup
• Weather Spotting

This is a great opportunity to get some real world experience or to refresh your skills.
