By now I'm sure some of you have heard the news that I am moving to part time status this week. After a long few months of decision making, I have accepted a full time position with the Town of Effingham.

I would like to thank everyone at the Bartlett Fire Department, Bartlett / Jackson Ambulance, and Bartlett Highway Department for being a big part of what made my time here successful, and being a big part of making the department work.

But most of all I'd like to thank the residents of Bartlett for having patience and faith in us as the department was "rebuilt", beginning with Chief Champlin's appointment and continuing to now. Without your support, comments, and demanding more, the department would not have been able to become what it is today. I am truly grateful for the support that we have been able to earn from you over the years.

I wish the best of luck to everyone and look forward to seeing you here and there!

Stay safe.
