Hannah, Shelia, Eliza, Jodi, and Larry thank you so much for all you did today to make this run smoothly! Also a huge thank you to Lake Region for hosting us. Have a wonderful night everyone!

The Barton Town Office as part of the MERP grant will be replacing the entire front entry porch and ramp. This will mean that this week we will have modified access and limited hours. We will be open with whatever access we can provide from 8:15 to 2pm Monday through Thursday and 8:15AM to noon on Friday. There may be additional closures without much notice. There will not be ADA access to the building. Please make appointments for vault time to guarantee we aren't going to be unavailable during that window.

ADA access is unavailable so if you need us to come out and help you from your car please just call us at 525-6222.

We will likely use a side door for entry during the week. Look for signs and please use appropriate caution around our building.

Thank you for your understanding.

Our reappraisal process is moving along nicely! NEMC has kindly put together a list of frequently asked questions. The initial assessments will be hitting mailboxes in the next week with information on setting appointments for informal conversations to review those initial valuations. Booklets with information for the entire town are available online at https://drive.google.com/file/d/15YRVPZp__pysxWJz25GDWXs-oxHs_h6A/view?usp=drive_link or at the town office. We will not be mailing the full books but are happy to print you one if you stop by. Please remember Town Office staff are not assessors and have limited ability to answer questions, but we are happy to help you make an appointment to discuss those questions in detail with the assessors themselves. Appointments will be May 20, 21, 22, and 23.
