For Cameron, communication takes many forms. Using his iPad as assistive technology, he shares his thoughts, interests, and experiences in ways that work best for him. Whether he's talking about his favorite videos, sharing memories, or inviting others to join him in activities he enjoys, his device helps him connect with the people around him.

One recent interaction led to a walk through the building and a ride on the elevator. As the elevator traveled from the first floor to the second floor, Cameron recorded a video on his iPad and proudly shared it with others afterward. It was a simple moment, but one that brought him joy and provided an opportunity to connect with those around him.

At Lifelong Access, we recognize the important role assistive technology plays in helping individuals express themselves, build independence, and engage with the world around them. 💙

Last week, our Community Day Services program brought the energy with a karaoke session full of favorite songs, big energy, and lots of cheering from friends. Whether singing solo or singing along, everyone helped make it a fun and memorable time together!

Mitchell’s Money Skills in Action 💰💚

At Lifelong Access, we believe learning never stops. Through our Community Day Services (CDS) program, individuals have opportunities to continue building meaningful life skills that promote confidence, independence, and lifelong learning.

Mitchell has been hard at work developing his money management skills by practicing how to identify bills and coins and recognize their values. Through fun role-playing activities and using pretend money to practice “paying for things,” he is gaining confidence while strengthening important everyday skills.

Mitchell shares that he really enjoys learning about money and participating in these activities. His enthusiasm and dedication have made it exciting to watch his growth and see how proud he feels each time he reaches a new milestone. ✨
