PCPS is conducting an artificial intelligence (AI) survey open to all students, staff and members of the community.
We are seeking this feedback as our district continues to explore the responsible and innovative use of AI. The survey takes about five to seven minutes to complete, and it will not collect identifying information unless you provide it yourself.

PCPS is also forming steering committees to provide leadership and oversight for the implementation of AI in our district. Students, staff and community members are welcome to fill out an interest form here: https://tinyurl.com/5fsf8f9a

🐾 Happy National Dog Day from our Veterinary Academies and their four-legged friends at and Tenoroc High School Ag/FFA l! 🐾

Today, we're celebrating the dogs who bring so much joy to our lives and the students who are passionate about caring for them. Through hands-on learning experiences, our veterinary students are building the knowledge, skills, and compassion needed for careers in animal care, veterinary medicine, and related fields.

Whether they're learning animal handling techniques, studying animal health, or gaining real-world experiences, these students are turning their love for animals into future career opportunities.

Did you know? Polk County Public Schools is proud to offer four Veterinary Academy programs across the district:

As we kick off this new school year, we can't forget to recognize some of the amazing things that our CTE Academies and their CTSO programs accomplished this summer! At the FBLA National Leadership Conference held in San Antonio, Texas, Gause Academy brought home the Gold!

Gause received the Hollis and Kitty Guy Gold Seal Chapter of Merit Award. Gause is the only school in Polk County to receive the prestigious Gold Seal Chapter honor. This award recognizes outstanding local chapters that have actively participated in projects and programs identified with the goals of FBLA.

Gause Academy shares high school Champion Chapter Gold Banner honors with Discovery Academy. George Jenkins received Silver Champion Chapter and Haines City received Bronze. (Champion Chapter Banner picture: Zachary Carroll accepts the banner from National FBLA President, Yasha Nagathan)

At the Awards of Excellence ceremony, Zachary Carroll placed 9th with his Career Portfolio - rising to the top from a field of 96 participants in this event from across the United States and Canada.
