Hey Engage! Ever thought about rail service from Polk to Tampa or Orlando? Now’s the time to voice your opinion! 📣

The Polk TPO is conducting the I-4 Passenger Rail Station Study to explore how future high-speed, intercity passenger rail service could connect Polk County to major destinations across Central Florida and beyond.

The study will help identify potential station locations and amenities that best serve Polk County residents and visitors. Your feedback will directly inform future study recommendations.

What a night celebrating Polk County’s young professionals! 🎉

On August 19, young professionals from across Polk County came together for the Polk Young Professionals Awards, and we loved seeing so many members of our Engage Bartow community there to celebrate the incredible people making an impact throughout our county.

Congratulations to all of this year’s award winners, and an extra special congratulations to our own Engage member, Kacey Wood!

We’re so excited to see Kacey recognized alongside such an outstanding group of young professionals.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a wonderful celebration, to Idlewood for hosting us, and to the Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce and Lakeland Chamber of Commerce for partnering with us to bring young professionals from across Polk County together.

We’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to connect and celebrate this community! 💜

📚❤️ We did it!

The school supplies collected through this year's Stuff the Bus drive have officially been delivered to Hearth & TASSEL, where they'll help local students head back to school with the tools they need to succeed.

This effort wouldn't have been possible without the incredible generosity of our community. To every individual, business, and organization that donated supplies, hosted a collection box, volunteered your time, or helped spread the word, thank you. Your kindness will make a real difference for children and families throughout Polk County.

A special thank you to Citrus Air Conditioners Inc. for generously providing their box truck to help transport all of the donated supplies. Your support helped make delivery day smooth and successful, and we're so grateful for your continued commitment to our community.

Thank you, Bartow, for showing once again what can happen when a community comes together for a great cause. 💙

As our Stuff the Bus school supply drive comes to a close, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make it a success.

From individuals who dropped off a few notebooks to businesses that opened their doors as collection sites, every donation will help local students start the school year with the supplies they need to succeed.

Thank you to our community for your incredible generosity and to our participating drop box locations for helping make it easy for others to give. Your support is a reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together for a common cause.

We can’t wait to get these supplies into the hands of students across our community. Thank you for helping us make a difference! 💙📚✏️
