Polk County 4-H UF IFAS Polk County 4-H 4-H Youth Development is an extension of the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS).

Its focus is to promote the development of life skills in the youth within the community. Polk County 4-H includes several local clubs with youth involved in a variety of projects such as forest ecology, horse, dog, horticulture, public speaking, marine science, photography, archery, and so much more! excited to launch 4-H Project Pathways: Designing Youth Experiences That Matter, a brand new workshop created in response to volunteer feedback and requests for project planning support.

Think of it as project-planning office hours for 4-H volunteers. You'll have dedicated time to work on your project, access templates and resources, receive feedback, and leave with a completed Project Pathway for your club. Open to all Florida 4-H volunteers.

Registration is NOW OPEN for the 2026 Polk County 4-H Volunteer Roundup!

Connect. Learn. Grow.

Join fellow 4-H volunteers for a day of networking, hands-on learning, fresh ideas, and important updates as we prepare for another exciting year of helping youth thrive through 4-H.

Volunteer Roundup is required for club leaders, co-leaders, and volunteers serving in leadership roles, and serves as Session 2 of the New Leader Training Series.

Choose the date that works best for you:

๐Ÿ€August 1 (8:30 a.m. โ€“ 2:30 p.m.)
