🚧 Heads up! There will be full overnight closures on the northbound I-75 ramps at Toledo Blade Boulevard (exit 179) and Sumter Boulevard (exit 182) starting from 11 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, to 5 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, and again from 11 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, to 5 a.m. on Friday, May 29.

These closures are necessary to allow crews to re-stripe the lanes. Only one ramp will be closed at a time to minimize disruption. Motorists should plan their routes accordingly, use extra caution, and follow posted detour routes. Alternatively, consider finding other routes. Law enforcement will be present to assist motorists during the closures.

Please note, these activities may change due to weather or unforeseen conditions. 🚦

? When motorcycles are riding in a group, it amps up safety. A larger, louder pack on the road means better visibility and less chance of being overlooked. Talk about strength in numbers! πŸοΈπŸ’¨

🚧 Heads up, Polk County! Nightly detours will occur from May 26 through May 29, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., due to bridge work on State Road (S.R.) 33 at Interstate 4 (I‑4). During this period, S.R. 33 will be closed at the I‑4 overpass. Northbound traffic will be rerouted via University Boulevard, while southbound motorists will be guided to Tomkow Road. πŸš—πŸ”„

Truck traffic heading northbound will need to take I‑4 eastbound to Exit 44 (SR 559) to reconnect with S.R. 33. Southbound trucks will follow the Tomkow Road detour. Additionally, the I‑4 eastbound and westbound off‑ramps to S.R. 33 (Exit 38) will be closed each night. Drivers will need to proceed to Exit 33 and follow signage to return to S.R. 33.

Portable Changeable Message Signs and detour signage will be positioned along the route to assist motorists. Allow extra travel time, adhere to detours, and exercise caution through the construction zone. Please stay alert and avoid distractions, as construction schedules might change due to weather or unforeseen conditions.
