The fall free curbside pick-up for trees, branches, and shrubs is here for Basalt residents thanks to the Roaring Fork Valley Wildfire Collaborative

Residents who live in the Blue Lake, Dakota, El Jebel & Missouri Heights neighborhoods, free curbside chipping is coming your way!

No sign-up required! This free program from the Wildfire Collaborative and Eagle County Government makes it easier to clear vegetation and reduce wildfire risk around your property.

Have your trees, branches, logs, and woody shrubs (up to ~12" diameter) curbside by Sunday, Aug. 30 for pickup the following week.

Calling all musicians! We've changed up our Local Vocals for Friday. Bring your talent to Triangle Park and share it with our community on stage. You can sign up to perform at the event. See you at 5pm on Friday.

Between Monday, August 31 and Friday, September 4 from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. the Town of Basalt will chip and fog seal the following streets: E. Cody Lane, W. Cody Lane, Elk Run Dr. (entire length), W. Homestead Dr. (Two Rivers Road to Sopris Dr.), East Valley Road (Lewis Lane to Evans Rd.) and Juniper Ct. Parking will not be allowed on these streets during the work week. This applies to all work areas since the crews are working to expedite the project and will try to get to as many streets as possible each day. The Town will be placing notices around effected streets. All work is weather dependent. Any updates can be found in the news section on the homepage of www.basalt.net

Animated animals and dinosaurs coming your way! We're bringing some movies to Basalt for your fall enjoyment. All films are free to attend. We recommend getting cozy with sleeping bags, chairs, and blankets. Picnics encouraged. We will also be selling popcorn, sodas and adult beverages. Thanks for the partnership Basalt Regional Library

You can learn more and ask questions and leave comments.If you haven't checked out information about the Public Services Facility yet which will combine the Police and Public Works departments into a new building, this slideshow presents a summary of the need and solutions for the project.
