Keeping Our Team Safe 💧🦺

This week, Consolidated Water District #1 was proud to host the Kansas Rural Water Association (KRWA) Confined Space and Trench Safety classes at our Waterworks Campus!

We had a great turnout of regional professionals for this important hands-on safety training. We were also proud to have two of our own water distribution technicians participate in the class and continue building their knowledge and skills.

Safety is a top priority in the water industry, and training like this helps ensure our crews have the knowledge and preparation they need to work safely in the field.

A big THANK YOU to KRWA for bringing this valuable training to our Waterworks Campus, and to everyone who participated! 👏

💧 Working together. Training together. Keeping our water professionals safe! 💧

🌱🚜 Mowing Season Reminder!

Our Distribution Team has been working hard to repair meters damaged during mowing season.

Please use extra caution when mowing around your water meter. The top portion of the meter is the radio, which communicates with our system and allows us to read your water meter remotely. When a mower runs over it, the radio can be damaged and may need to be replaced.

Taking a little extra care around your meter helps prevent damage and keeps your meter readings working properly. 💧

Thank you for helping us protect our equipment!

Happy mowing! 🌿

📚🎒 It’s Back-to-School Time! ✏️🍎

School starts back this week! As you get the kids ready for another exciting school year, don’t forget to pack their reusable water bottles! 💧

Staying hydrated is an important part of keeping kids energized, focused, and ready to learn throughout the school day. Encourage them to refill their bottles and make drinking water a part of their daily routine.

From all of us at Consolidated Water District #1, we wish all of the students, teachers, staff, and families a happy, healthy, and safe school year! ❤️

Here’s to a great year filled with learning, new adventures, and lots of success! 🎓📖

Have a wonderful first day back! 🍎✏️💦
