We are SO excited to finally have our new automatic doors installed at the library!

No more struggling to maneuver strollers through heavy doors.
No more worrying about little fingers getting pinched.

And best of all, we now have another way to make our library more accessible and welcoming for everyone in our community!!

Have you heard of MAH JONGG?! Have you ever been interested in learning how to play?! Would you come to a class if the library hosted one?!

We recently went to a training to learn the basics of this game that is becoming very popular! It’s a great way to get out of the house, use your brain and connect with others!

The library is looking at hosting a training sometime in September and wanted to see if there was any interest!

We took our internship field trip yesterday and got to visit the Genoa City Library, the Columbus Public Library and the Madison Public Library! It’s a great chance for us to connect with other libraries and see what great things they are up to!

We had a blast at our end of summer reading party last week!!

Even though activities for the summer are over kiddos still have until Friday, July 31st to get in their summer reading logs! We have lots of prizes left and if they meet their reading goal we have a certificate and pizza coupon for them!

Final summer reading activities! ☀️☀️

Today from 3-5PM: End of Summer Reading Party located by pool in city park

Wednesday, July 22nd @ 2PM: Final round of rock tumbling! Kiddos do not have to of come to the prior events for this! At the end they will go home with polished rocks!

No activities Thursday

Kids have until July 31st to get in their summer reading logs!! If they make their goal we have a certificate and a coupon to The Shack for them!
