Community Update on Notice of Appraised Values

We would like to thank our community for your patience as we complete a major conversion of our Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) software.

In a typical year, Notices of Appraised Value arrive in mailboxes around April 15. This year will be different. The file will be sent to the printer tomorrow, April 16, with a scheduled mail date of April 29. Notices of Appraised Value will be mailed on April 29.
The 2026 property values will become available on our website beginning May 1. On that same day, we will also launch new website features designed to make filing homestead exemptions and protests easier and more convenient.

We will continue to use our social media platforms to share updates and information about these enhancements.

Thank you again for your understanding and continued support.

🚨Friendly reminder, Business Personal Property Renditions are due on April 15th. Agricultural 1-D-1 applications are due on April 30th.🚨

As the deadlines to submit Business Personal Property renditions and Agricultural 1-D-1 applications rapidly approach, we want to share an important reminder to help you avoid late submissions.
The postal service has recently changed its procedure for postmarking envelopes. Dropping off your BPP renditions on April 15th or your Agricultural application on April 30th does NOT guarantee they will be postmarked that same day. This could result in your forms being considered late.
Do not wait until the last minute without taking precautions. To ensure your submission is dated correctly, please walk your mail inside the post office and ask a postal clerk to hand-stamp your envelope on the day you submit it.
Taking this extra step is critical to making sure your paperwork is accepted on time.

You can submit renditions and applications in person at our office (212 Jackson St, Bastrop, TX 78602). There is also a drop box on the south side of the building for your convenience.

🌟JANUARY EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH:🎉
Brad was nominated for going above and beyond to ensure proper attention was given to an area outside of his assigned responsibilities, an effort that will directly impact and improve accuracy within our new GSA system.
But his contributions didn’t stop there. During an especially busy time, he also took it upon himself to run errands for a co-worker in need. This thoughtful and selfless act is a perfect example of the supportive culture we strive to build every day.
Thank you for your dedication, your willingness to step up wherever needed, and for making a positive difference in both our work and our workplace. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!✨

🌟FEBRUARY EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH:🎉
Joselin was nominated for hitting the ground running and consistently going above and beyond in her role. Her efforts to strengthen our new software and assess system-wide impacts are making a meaningful difference.
We appreciate your hard work and forward-thinking approach. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!✨
