Richmond Memorial Library is thrilled to be hosting Shake on the Lake again this year! The local Shakespeare company will be performing The Comedy of Errors here in the side lawn of the library on Thursday, July 23rd at 6:30pm. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. This high energy, slapstick comedy is family friendly and all ages are encouraged to attend.

In case of inclement weather, we will gather at the First Presbyterian Church on Main Street.

This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by GO ART!

We have a busy summer of programming planned! Come see us at the library! Kids can sign up for summer reading now, and sign ups for adults and teens begin Monday, June 29!

Local Author Fair at Richmond Memorial Library - August 15th from 12:00pm-4:00pm

Save the Date!!

Saturday August 15th, Richmond Memorial Library will be hosting a Local Author Fair from 12:00pm to 4:00pm!

Over 20 local authors will be joining us at the library to talk about their books, chat with readers, and sign copies! There will be plenty of fun to be had that day with activities for all ages, as well as food and bookish vendors.

Monday's Story Time has been moved to Centennial Park for the duration of summer!
We'll have songs and stories galore!

In less than a week, we will watch the 2008 film adaptation of Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne. This action packed adaptation is rated PG, and therefore families are welcome. Run time is 1 hour 33 minutes.
You do not have to have read the book to participate. Light refreshments provided by the Friends of Richmond Memorial Library.
