Paper or plastic??? We love and need both! We encourage in-person shoppers to bring their own bags, but we are always in need of bags for online orders and deliveries. This is a super easy way to support the Food Pantry and Clothes Closet! Drop-off hours are Tuesdays 8am-3pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8am-noon & 6:00-7:30pm, and Friday mornings 8am-noon. Thanks in advance!

Saturday, May 9th is the day! Postal Carriers will be collecting non-perishable food donations to fill the pantry shelves. Just place your bag of donations next to your mailbox and the carriers will do the rest! Thanks for your support!

We are always learning at the Food Pantry & Clothes Closet! Do you know pomelo?? We received these from one of our grocery store partners and had to look up what they were! A pomelo is the largest citrus fruit -- similar to a grapefruit, but sweeter. You learn something new every day!

What kinds of food do we give away at the Food Pantry? We always strive to have a wide variety of items available -- and sometimes we get something extra special! This week we received a shipment of positively perfect pears from the Northern Illinois Food Bank, each individually wrapped! We know that families will just love them!

We love when families who use the pantry show us all the awesome meals they are preparing with the food they receive! This client won the wok in one of our Clothes Closet raffles AND tried something new -- cooking with bok choy! This looks so delicious!

Thank you, Chip In Batavia for sharing some of the beautiful prom dresses with us after your big Prom Dress Giveaway! Our Clothes Closet staff was able to choose a selection of dresses after the giveaway to make them available for the families who visit us. 🥰

We ❤ community! Many, many thanks to the Fox River Trail Runners for raising $12,500 at the 2025 The Fox & The Turkey Race on a very cold Thanksgiving morning! We know it takes a lot of time and effort to put on an event like this and we are so grateful for their support.
