You can now purchase a sheet of coupons to be used year round when you buy a paperback, young adult or children's book. Each sheet contains 10 coupons and costs $2.50/sheet.

Coupons can be purchased at the Check Out Desk during normal library hours or during the Friends' monthly book sale, the second Saturday of every month.

Due to the recent increase of Covid cases, the Friends of the Batavia Library have elected to cancel the January book sale. The Friends will continue to monitor the situation and hope to safely return to the much anticipated monthly sales in February.

Friends of the Library resume monthly book sales Saturday, 9/11/21 between 9 am and 1 pm. All visitors will need to follow mask requirements in accordance with the Batavia Public Library.

The announcement about donations being accepted was premature. It will be removed until closer to the date just as soon as I can figure out how to do it!

The Batavia Public Library will again be accepting donations of used books, DVDs, audiobooks, games and puzzles on May 3. There will be a drop box in the lobby, or you may make arrangements with the staff at the Circulation Desk to drop off boxes too heavy to carry.
Proceeds from the sale of your gifts by Friends of the Library enrich the Library in many ways: special programs such as One Book, One Batavia; summer and winter reading programs; adaptive equipment and much, much more.
