NexTrex Recycling Challenge

Help us keep Batavia clean and green by participating in our community-wide plastic film recycling challenge!

We are collecting clean, dry, recyclable plastic film items including:

🛍️ Grocery bags
🥖 Bread bags
🫧 Bubble wrap
👔 Dry cleaning bags
📰 Newspaper sleeves
🧊 Ice bags
📦 Plastic shipping envelopes
🥪 Ziploc® & other resealable food storage bags
🥣 Cereal bags
💧 Case overwrap
🧂 Salt bags
📦 Pallet wrap & stretch film
🔥 Wood pellet bags
🥬 Produce bags

✅ All plastic must be clean, dry, and free of food residue.

By participating, you’ll help:
🌱 Reduce plastic waste
🌱 Protect our environment
🌱 Keep Batavia beautiful
🌱 Support a community recycling effort

Our goal is to collect enough recyclable material to earn a Trex recycled-material bench for our community!

Together, we can make a difference — one bag at a time.

Lion Mike Minella, our scholarship chairman, proudly presenting two Humanitarian Service scholarships at Batavia High School's awards night. We are thrilled to empower these outstanding young leaders, and Batavia should take immense pride in nurturing such exceptional talent.

Come on out and experience the breathtaking selection we’re showcasing at the corner of Wilson and Water, along with all the other locations listed on the event flyer. Once again, the plants are truly stunning, and the best part is, all plants are just $30, with both cash and credit accepted. Brunch is served at Ronald Mcdonald House . A great time was had by all and I believe that our offerings were enjoyable! Thank you to Lions John Emerson and partner in service Cindy Emerson, Sue Jenkins, Rick Goebel, Lori Chassee, And Paula Black.
