The Travel Advisory previously issued for Genesee County has been cancelled. Residents are still encouraged to use caution and remain aware of changing weather conditions.

🚨 Travel Advisory Issued 🚨

A countywide Travel Advisory begins tomorrow, Sunday, January 25, at 10:00 a.m. due to expected accumulating snow and extreme cold.

Roads are not closed, but residents are urged to avoid unnecessary travel and stay home if possible.

Update: Genesee County Sheriff Cancels Travel Advisory for Genesee County, New York

The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office has cancelled the travel advisory for all of Genesee County as of 3:00 pm, December 30, 2025. Weather conditions throughout this week will continue to make travel difficult. Motorists are encouraged to drive with caution due to potential for blowing and drifting snow accumulation on roads.
