⚾ Join Genesee County STOP DWI for a Night at the Ballpark on Thursday, July 9, at Dwyer Stadium!

This year’s event will include a special tribute to Genesee County Sheriff's Office - Sheriff Joseph M. Graff, whose career has been defined by decades of dedicated public service.

Sheriff Graff has been a strong supporter of STOP-DWI initiatives, helping strengthen enforcement, education, and community awareness.

Come cheer on Sheriff Graff as he throws out the ceremonial first pitch!

Contact your local School Resource Deputy or Officer before school is out for the summer. Genesee County Sheriff's Office - Batavia, NY School Resource Deputies and City of Batavia Police Department, NY School Resource Officers have a limited number of complimentary tickets available to distribute.

Genesee County Youth Bureau also has a supply of complimentary tickets available for youth and their families. To request tickets, call 585-344-3960 or stop by their office at 5130 East Main Street Road, Batavia, New York to pick up your tickets today.

SPO Russo and PO Nicholson had a chance to "roll out" their new game, Roll & React: Roll the Dice and Choose Your Night Edition with Genesee County STOP DWI at Elba High School yesterday. This game, developed in-house by our experienced officers, offers participants the option to experience a wide variety of actions and consequences (with prizes!). This experience led to many great conversations with Elba HS Students and the officers are excited for future presentations.

Genesee County employees turned their Buffalo Sabres spirit into support for a great organization.

Through employee donations during Sabres Dress Down Days, more than $400 was raised for WNYHeroes.org, an organization that provides veterans, members of the armed services, and military families with essential services, financial assistance, and resources.

While the Sabres’ playoff run may not have ended the way fans hoped, supporting local veterans and their families gave this season a happy ending for Team Genesee.

Thank you to everyone who participated and donated, and a special shout-out to **Bluey**, who certainly stole the show during the donation presentation!

It’s National ! The Genesee County Treatment Court helps participants become healthy, productive citizens and reduces crime by offering evidence-based treatment and accountability to people with substance use and mental health disorders. Sr. P.O. Barber, Treatment Court Liaison, has prepared an article on the value that treatment courts provide both locally and nationwide.
