Railroad Crossing Arms on McDaniel

🚨UPDATE: Railroad crossing is operational again. The road (McDaniel) is back open.

Currently the crossing arms are down on McDaniel. Please take an alternative route this morning. The Railroad has been notified and is en route. Safe travels!

West bound and east bound lanes are slowly moving. Remain cautious.

Update as of 5:05pm
One East bound lane is opening back up.

All lanes of I-70 between Oak Grove and Grain Valley will be shut down until further notice.

The Lafayette County road district is planning road repairs for McDaniel on July 1 (weather permitting). Please plan ahead and use an alternate route. The rainy weather this weekend could delay the plans but if you see equipment, please go around. We will provide updates as we receive them.
