Batesville Intermediate School Batesville Intermediate is a public school in the South Panola School District. The school houses approximately 600 students in second and third grade.

As the 2025–2026 school year comes to a close, we have so much to celebrate! Yesterday, students enjoyed classroom parties as we wrapped up a wonderful year filled with learning, growth, friendship, and fun. We are proud of all our students for their hard work and accomplishments throughout the year and thankful for the support of our families and staff who made this year so special.

Parents/Guardians,

Report cards will be sent home with students on the last day of school, Thursday, May 21, 2026. This will be an early release day.

If a library book has not been turned in, the report card will be held in the office. All library books are $10.

Attached to the report cards are the letters with the registration codes for next school year. Please do not lose these. Codes will not be given out over the phone.

Registration requires 2 new proofs of residency each year. All registration is completed online. Please don't wait until school starts to register. This can delay your child's placement.

Tonight, the South Panola School District honored all of the retirees for this school year. BIS employees Ms. Rhonda Leland, Mrs. Meledia Freeman, and Mr. Mickle Richmond were recognized for their years of dedicated service and commitment to students, staff, and the community. Their contributions have made a lasting impact on the district, and they were celebrated with gratitude and appreciation for their hard work and devotion.
