Batesville School District AT BATESVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT (BSD) our mission is to "Empower Today's Students for Tomorrow's Challenges". We are Pioneer Nation!

We create space for opportunity and innovation because our vision is "Every Student Growing Every Day". The Batesville School District is made up of seven great schools that offer personalized learning plans for every child. The Pioneer Nation begins with Preschool, which offers infant and toddler care. There are three elementary schools to choose from: Eagle Mountain, Sulphur Rock, & West; Batesv

ille Junior High School Charter, and Batesville High School Charter. White River Academy is our alternative learning environment for grades 6-12 non-traditional students. BSD offers co-curricular and extracurricular activities that suit the personal interests and strengths of individual students. Our district offers a complete fine arts program, K-12. We also offer competitive sports in grades 3-12 and many intramural participation opportunities. Through these activities, students will learn leadership, work ethic, citizenship, and teamwork. FUN FACT FRIDAY

This summer, the Mobile HUB was on the move!

For 8 weeks, the Pioneer Family Resource Center Mobile HUB powered by Spartan Mowers traveled more than 80 miles throughout our community, serving 514 children with food boxes while bringing resources, activities, and support directly to our students and families.

From learning activities and active play to calming resources, book giveaways, shoes, hygiene items, and more, each stop was another opportunity to meet families where they are and help remove barriers for our students.

We are grateful for our staff and community partners who helped make the Mobile HUB's summer outreach possible. This is what serving Pioneer Nation looks like.

THANKFUL THURSDAY

Pioneer Nation recently gathered for the dedication of the Pioneer Park Veterans Memorial — a lasting tribute to the men and women whose service and sacrifice have helped shape our community and our country.

We are incredibly grateful to the Pioneer Park Steering Committee, donors, community partners, staff, and everyone who gave their time, resources, and talents to make this memorial a reality. We are also thankful for all who joined us for this special evening.

Most of all, we are thankful for those who have served, those who continue to serve, and the members of our Pioneer family who gave their lives in military service.

May Pioneer Park stand for generations as a place to remember, reflect, and honor their service and sacrifice.

This September, Pioneer Nation will once again Go Gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

We want to honor the children in our Pioneer family whose lives have been impacted by childhood cancer.

If your child is a survivor, currently fighting childhood cancer, or you would like us to honor their memory, we invite you to share their story with us.
