On Monday, March 31, 2025, the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force conducted a
successful operation that resulted in the seizure of 1.3 pounds of methamphetamine in Heber
Springs, Arkansas. This operation was carried out in collaboration with the Heber Springs PoliceDepartment, highlighting a comprehensive approach to addressing drug-related offenses in the area.

The operation began with the ex*****on of a search warrant at a designated residence in Heber Springs. During this operation, a suspect named Anthony Gene Riddle was arrested. He was found in possession of the seized methamphetamine, as well as multiple fi****ms.

This initiative was part of an extensive undercover investigation aimed at dismantling local drug trafficking activities.

Formal charges will be presented to the 16th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney. These charges include one count of trafficking methamphetamine exceeding 200 grams, which is classified as a Class Y felony; simultaneous possession of drugs and fi****ms—also a Class Y felony; possession of a firearm by a felon, which is a Class B felony; and maintaining a drug premises, classified as a Class C felony. It is important to note that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court
of law.

On Friday, March 28, 2025, the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force executed a
successful operation resulting in the seizure of 11 pounds of methamphetamine in Cleburne
County, Arkansas. This operation was conducted in collaboration with several law enforcement
agencies, including the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office, Sharp County Sheriff’s Office, Concord
Police Department, U.S. Postal Inspectors, the 3rd Drug Task Force, and Batesville Police
Department, thereby highlighting a comprehensive approach to addressing drug-related offenses
in the area.
The operation commenced with the ex*****on of a search warrant at a designated residence within
Cleburne County. During this operation, a suspect named Fernando Rosales Gonzales was
apprehended and found in possession of the seized methamphetamine. This initiative was the
result of an extensive undercover investigation aimed at dismantling local drug trafficking
activities.
Formal charges will be presented to the 16th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney, which include
one count of trafficking methamphetamine exceeding 200 grams, categorized as a Class Y felony.
It is essential to note that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
