This year has been extremely busy for our department between fires and other emergencies. Yesterday our department responded to assist the Batesville Fire Department with a structure fire at Lawrence and River St. It was definitely an early start to the morning. Crews then conducted EVOC training for the majority of the day. Crews also responded to a fire alarm.

Today crews have responded to numerous calls for service including grass fires and an excavator fire.
