Experience Independence and CK Rodeo are bringing the Batesville Rodeo to town July 17 & 18 for a weekend packed with competition, family fun, and classic rodeo action.

From bull riding and barrel racing to team roping and more, this is one summer event you won’t want to miss.

🎣 Ready to get your feet wet?

Join local guide Wyatt Edwards on July 9 at 6 PM at Poke Bayou Outfitters for Beyond the Vise, a beginner-friendly evening of fly tying, tactics, and fly fishing conversation.

Wyatt will cover the basics — from reading water and choosing flies to retrieves and the small adjustments that make a big difference on the river. Depending on conditions, we may even step behind the shop and put a few tips into practice on the bayou.

Levitt AMP Batesville brings our community together through music, and this week, we shine a spotlight on the incredible talent blossoming right here in our own backyard.

Before national-touring artist Marielle Kraft takes the stage, the evening will open with two local performances:

🎤 6:30 PM – Pete & Syd, accompanied by Shannon Rounds and Mark Reaves

From fresh faces to beloved hometown favorites, Batesville’s creative spirit is bursting with life. We are thrilled to celebrate the local artists who make our music scene truly unforgettable.
