Our law enforcement family is mourning the loss of a truly remarkable man.

After many years of dedicated service, Chris Kelley, a longtime Deputy Sheriff with the Benton County Sheriff's Office, (Reserve Lieutenant), and Captain with the Centerton Police Department, has passed away.

He was more than a badge and a uniform. He was a respected leader, a trusted mentor, a loyal friend, a devoted husband, and a servant to his community. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to others left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

He led with integrity, treated people with respect, and earned the admiration of colleagues, friends, and community members alike. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched throughout his career and beyond.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all who served alongside him during this difficult time.

Thank you for your service, your friendship, and the example you set for so many. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Rest easy, brother. We have the watch from here.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of a dedicated public servant, respected leader, and cherished friend within our law enforcement family.

Today, we join the Centerton Police Department, the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, and law enforcement agencies across our region in mourning the loss of an individual whose commitment to serving others left a lasting impact on countless lives. Their dedication, professionalism, and unwavering support of fellow officers exemplified the very best of public service.

Out of respect for the family, additional details will be released at a later time. We ask that everyone keep his family, friends, coworkers, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

The legacy of service, compassion, and leadership he leaves behind will never be forgotten.

Rest easy, brother. Your watch has ended, and we will take it from here. 💙🖤

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy every day, and we remain forever grateful.

As you gather with family and friends this holiday weekend, please celebrate responsibly. Buckle up, drive sober, stay alert, and help us keep our roads and communities safe.

From all of us in law enforcement, we remember the fallen, honor their families, and thank all who have served.
