We are spending our Tuesday night training with SCBAs so that we can stay safe while keeping our community safe.

Good morning Panola County. We have been monitoring the threat for today’s weather and here’s what we know:

It’s going to be windy all day. 30-40 mph winds with stronger gust. A line of thunderstorms will be moving into the area this evening (estimate 5pm) that could result in 70+ mph winds, large hail, and possible tornado activity. Tie things down and prepare for possible power outages.

After the storm, temps will drop to below freezing early into tomorrow morning.

Stay updated, stay vigilant, stay safe.

Good morning! We will have firefighters at 315 & 6 and Good Hope/Mt. Olivet for our semi-annual boot drive this morning. Y’all stop and donate for our department. If you can’t come through I will post online donation options. You can at least slow down and speak.
