Another great drill with Klecknersville on 3/23/26

Crews practiced a vehicle MVA with entrapment with one car on fire and spreading to the second car. Officers provided call details while crews from Fire 40 and Fire 48 responded to scene providing a rapid fire and rescue response.

Drill: Monday, March 9th

Members practiced ladder carries, ladder set up and take down, ladder climbing and roof transfers, and overall ladder safety. We couldn’t help to take advantage of the beautiful weather and allow new members and juniors to explore that there is so much more to ladders then setting it up and taking it down! Great job, guys!

We are grateful for his service and dedication to our community. Please keep their family and friends in your thoughts during this difficult time. What a fun way to practice a search and rescue scenario! Members with Fire 40 and Fire 48 had the opportunity to play search and rescue poker. Crews reviewed the search and rescue protocol as well as what to do in a situation where interior firefighters need to call mayday.

Thank you to a local woodworker who was able to make and donate a wooden American flag to our station. We always appreciate the support from our community.

Tonight, we celebrate another year of fire calls, classes, training, hard work, dedication, sweat, and tears.

We reflect on the year in the past and honor and pray for a safe future to come. We welcome the new year with old faces from generations before and new faces for generations to come.
