Michigan’s State Primary Election will take place tomorrow, August 4, 2026. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Voting locations vary by precinct. Check the Voting Precinct Map to find out which precinct you are in at on the Township website or use the Michigan Voter Information Center at www.michigan.gov/vote. Residents who have not yet registered to vote can do so at the Township Offices on Election Day and then vote by absentee ballot in one trip until 8:00 p.m.

It is recommended that residents refrain from conducting non-election Township business on Election Day.

Residents can go to Michigan.gov/vote for further information and voter resources or contact the Clerk’s Office at (517) 641-6728.

Michigan’s State Primary Election will take place on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Voting locations vary by precinct. The last day for early voting for registered voters is Sunday, August 2. Early voting sites in Clinton County are the DeWitt Township Hall and the Bingham Township Hall. These early voting sites serve all registered voters in Clinton County.

Clerk’s Office Election Hours on Saturday, August 1, 2026

The Township Offices will be open for election business ONLY on Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Voters who have received but have not yet returned their absentee ballot should hand-deliver their absentee ballot to the Township Offices or use the drop box in the Township Offices parking lot. Voters who have already returned their absentee ballot can track it at Michigan.gov/Vote to ensure it is received. If a voter sees that their ballot is not received, they should contact the Clerk's Office immediately.
