Happy 20th anniversary 211 Maine! Thank you for all that you have done to serve Maine.
United Way of Mid Coast Maine, along with our United Way partners throughout Maine, The State of Maine, and The Opportunity Alliance, have worked together for two decades to support 211 Maine, ensuring individuals and families can find the help they need 24/7/365.
We are proud that in 1993, United Way of Mid Coast Maine launched "First Call - Midcoast", the grandmother of 211 Maine. What a journey it has been! It is our hope that 211 Maine continues to serve the Midcoast, and the State, for years to come. If you can, please help 211 Maine sustain for another 20 years by making a donation today!

Have you made a donation to our Community Fund?
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped us meet this year's fundraising goal, thank you. On the flip side: we are still waiting for those who gave last year but haven't yet donated this year--valued at $166k! Imagine the impact those extra dollars could make to help individuals and families thrive, not just survive, throughout the Midcoast. There's still time to help us end our fiscal year (today!) with some extra funds to give kids the best start, build financial stability, and help everyone live healthy and connected lives. Donate today at uwmcm.org/donate, via Donor Advised Fund, Venmo (), or stop by at 34 Wing Farm Parkway, Bath. Thank you for your consideration!

We are honored to receive the Bath Brunswick Topsham Regional Chamber 2026 President's Award on behalf of all of those who have been working together to help youth thrive! Special thanks to our Connecting to Tomorrow interns, the businesses and organizations who host Connecting to Tomorrow interns, staff at RSU1, Brunswick School Department, MSAD No 75, and Richmond School Department, and partners from the Sagadahoc County Working Communities Challenge Initiative: Bath Brunswick Topsham Regional Chamber, MaineHealth Mid Coast Hospital, Midcoast Youth Center, Midcoast Maine Community Action, City of Bath, and United Way of Mid Coast Maine.

Winner's Spotlight: United Way of Mid Coast Maine

Come celebrate United Way of Mid Coast Maine at the Community Leadership Awards!
Board President Ellen McIver, on behalf of the board of directors, has chosen to honor our chamber’s incredible partnership with the United Way of Mid Coast Maine for the 2026 President’s Award. Under the leadership of Nicole Evans, UWMCM Executive Director, the chamber has been a key partner in creating the Connecting to Tomorrow workforce program.

One of the key pieces of Connecting to Tomorrow is introducing students from Mt. Ararat, Morse, Brunswick and Richmond high schools, and placing them in grant-funded paid internship programs with local businesses so these students can try out careers for 20-40 hours. The impact on the students as been incredible, and the program looks to expand in the years to come.

The Community Leadership Awards (CLAs) is an event of the Bath Brunswick Topsham Regional Chamber. This summer-party style event features live music from Second Wind (a Jimmy Buffet-esque band), great food, networking with dozens of business leaders, and an awards presentation for the eight honorees.

The CLAs are happening this Thursday, June 18 at Live Well Farm in Harpswell (1583 Harpswell Neck Road, Harpswell). Tickets are still available on the Bath Brunswick Topsham Regional Chamber website at MidcoastMaine.com (scroll down from the header and you will see the event logo and link). E-mail [email protected] with any questions.

Please help us achieve our $1.29 million fundraising goal for the United Way Community Fund. The Fund supports United Way and more than 50 local non-profit programs to help nearly 41,000 individuals and families throughout the Midcoast. With support from the community, we can achieve our collective goal to give kids the best start, build financial stability, and help everyone live healthy and connected lives.

We are incredibly grateful for the strong support we have already received from many donors, local businesses, and organizations. It is essential that we meet our fundraising goal, because today, the need to support our community is greater than ever before. By working together, we can help people thrive, not just survive.

By making just one donation to United Way, people can help family members, friends, neighbors, and co-workers:
• Access safe shelter, food, affordable healthcare, and high-quality childcare;
• Reduce homelessness, prevent violence and abuse, and strengthen families; and
• Ensure vulnerable youth, adults, and seniors are supported and connected.

To make a donation, please visit uwmcm.org/donate; text the word DONATE2UW to 41444; give via Venmo ; call 207-443-9752; or send a gift to 34 Wing Farm Parkway, #201, Bath, ME 04530. Thank you for your consideration!

Today we are feeling hopeful for the preliminary Maine Integrated Youth Health Survey Results! This morning, we learned some initial findings from MIYHS in Sagadahoc County schools. We still have some work to do but thanks to our incredible community we are investing in youth's protective factors in the right way, and seeing results!

What are you hopeful for?
