Happy Administrative Professionals Day!

Today we’re celebrating the women who really keep the State Plumbing Board running.

They’re the ones who somehow fit you into an exam when there’s absolutely no room…
The ones who walk you through applications step-by-step…
And the ones who have seen just about every email address imaginable..and keep a straight face through it all.

They answer the calls, keep the schedules straight, solve the problems, and make it all look easy even when it’s anything but.

To our administrative team: we see you, we appreciate you, and we couldn’t do this without you.

And to our licensees, this day is possible because of you, too. Your hard work, long hours, and dedication to your craft allow us to do what we do and take care of our families as well. That does not go unnoticed, and it certainly does not fall on deaf ears.

“Pressure is a privilege” means a plumber has earned the skill, licensing, and trust to work on systems that carry pressurized water and gas—because one mistake can cost a home thousands. For homeowners, it means the person fixing your pipes isn’t just turning wrenches… they’re protecting your house, your safety, and your water every time they open a valve. When most people hear ‘plumbing,’ they think of water. But master plumbers are also trained to handle one of the most powerful forces in our homes — natural gas.
