Kenilworth Science and Technology

University research starts early at Kenilworth!

Through our Science Research Mentorship (SRM) program, students in grades 6–9 work alongside professors and graduate students at LSU, LSU AgCenter, and Tulane University, accessing university labs and turning big questions into science fair projects.

From AI and robotics to solar energy and lunar habitats, our students are discovering what’s possible with guidance from university researchers and Kenilworth teacher mentors.

Led by STEM Coordinator Mr. Atakan Duzgun, SRM is one way Kenilworth, a leading STEM school in Baton Rouge, brings extraordinary opportunities to an open-enrollment public school.

Real students. Real research.
