Yesterday, we had the honor of recognizing nine outstanding volunteers at our 2026 Champions of Service Awards luncheon, alongside Billy Nungesser Lt. Governor of Louisiana

Did you know Volunteer Louisiana is one of 42 organizations nationwide that leverage Funding from AmeriCorps to enable more Americans to give back through citizen service? Using , we’ve trained over 1,000 volunteers in emergency preparedness and response, totaling over 12,400 hours of instruction.
