We are incredibly grateful to the Diocese of Baton Rouge and the Works of Mercy Trust Fund for their generous support of Braveheart! ❤️🧸 This gift helps us continue our mission of supporting foster youth and providing them with the resources, encouragement, and opportunities they need to thrive. Through partnerships rooted in compassion and service, we can continue walking alongside young people in foster care and reminding them that their future is full of possibility.

From young community members raising funds for Brave Heart, to volunteers lending their time, to fellow nonprofits working alongside us, we are reminded that lasting impact happens when we come together.

Brave Heart is a proud partner to James Samaritan! Please consider giving to this beautiful cause ❤️

There are children right here in St. Tammany Parish who are growing up in the foster care system, carrying burdens no child should have to carry.

James Samaritan is doing the hard, beautiful, necessary work of standing in that gap — connecting churches, volunteers, mentors, families, and community members to support kids in foster care and the families who care for them.

This October, we have an opportunity to help give foster kids something simple but powerful: a day on the water, a chartered fishing trip on Lake Pontchartrain, and the message that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.

Each charter trip costs approximately $1,300 for a full boat of kids and mentors.

Thank you so much to the students and staff of the Builders Club at Mayfair Laboratory School for putting together 75 gift bags, including beanie babies and handmade bracelets for children in foster care. We had the pleasure of visiting with them today and telling them more about what.Brave Heart of Louisiana, Children In Need does!

Brave Heart was honored to host a Youth Career Fair this month . Students ages 16-21 and their families were able to listen to various professionals share information about different career paths , to learn about financial aid and tips for successful job hunting and interviewing skills !
A special thanks to all our community partners that showed up to educate and mentor our future leaders ❤️
