🐾 Happy National Dog Day from HOPE Ministries! 🐾

Today, we’re celebrating some very special members of the extended HOPE family - our dogs! 🐶❤️

They may not stock the pantry, write grants, teach classes, or answer phones, but they have important jobs of their own: greeting us at the door, making us laugh, keeping us company, and reminding us of the joy that comes with unconditional love.

Take a look through the photos and meet the pups behind the people of HOPE! 🐕🐾

Happy National Dog Day from our pack to yours! ❤️

💡 Did you know? Donating to HOPE just got a little easier on your wallet!

With our new Givebutter donation platform, you now have the option to remove the transaction fee at checkout.

When making your gift:
➡️ Look for the processing fee
➡️ Click “Change”
➡️ Select “No, do not add”

Previously, transaction fees were automatically added and could not be removed. Now, you have the choice.

Your full donation still comes to HOPE - this change simply means you no longer have to pay an additional transaction fee if you don't want to.

Same impact. More control. ❤️💙

Yesterday, Baton Rouge General Medical Center joined us at Mr. Eddie’s Kitchen to prepare delicious egg bites for our pantry clients. We’re so grateful for their time and for helping show how pantry ingredients can be turned into simple, nutritious meals!

We’re also excited to introduce our new As Featured in Mr. Eddie’s Kitchen magnets!

You’ll now see these magnets throughout the pantry next to key ingredients featured in our cooking demonstrations. They’ll give clients an easy visual cue to help them find the ingredients they need to recreate the recipes at home.

We’re excited to make the connection between our cooking demonstrations and the pantry shelves even easier! 💙
