Louisiana Sea Grant is hiring a research attorney for its Law & Policy Program.

The position focuses on legal and policy research related to coastal management, coastal restoration and protection, fisheries, and natural resource issues affecting Louisiana and the Gulf region. Responsibilities include conducting research, analyzing policy issues, collaborating with partners and mentoring law student research assistants.

Louisiana Sea Grant is accepting applications for its 2027 Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP).

The program gives undergraduate students the opportunity to conduct their own coastal related research projects, collaborate with faculty mentors and gain valuable career experience while contributing to research focused on Louisiana’s coastal environments.
