Capital Area United Way works to advance the common good and create opportunities for a better life for all. This is done through our focus on education, income, and health. With your support, over 120 programs that have measurable results in these three focus areas are currently being funded. These programs touch the lives of thousands in our 10-parish Capital Area and are making a positive impac

t on a daily basis. To give, advocate, or volunteer please visit CAUW.org. We all win:

- When a child suceeds in school
- When families are financially stable
- When people have good health

These building blocks for a good life begin with helping meet basic needs of a person or family and complete the circle by improving the conditions for the community. As Capital Area United Way focuses on outcomes related to education, income, and health, we are also looking at how we invest in basic needs.

Applications are live for the Fueling the Future ALICE Childcare Scholarships in partnership with !🚨

Helping build a better future for families.

🌟ZIP Codes: 70801, 70802, 70803, 70805, 70807, 70813
🌟Application Interviews: July 2026
🌟Scholarship Period: August 2026 - July 2027
🌟Renewable up to 5 years!

Priority will be given to families residing in the targeted North Baton Rouge zip codes. If all scholarship slots are not filled, the program will be opened to eligible families throughout East Baton Rouge Parish.

Scholarships are renewable annually, for up to five (5) years or until the child reaches kindergarten, provided the parent remains in good standing with Capital Area United Way and continues to meet all program requirements.
