Our "No More Silence" event was absolutely incredible. A huge thank you to Jamie Davis for U.S. Senate and Isaiah Martin for coming out to help us get energized for the June 27th runoff. The energy, creativity, and tenacity of our young leaders are exactly what we need to turn this ship around.
Elite politicians want us to stay home so they can maintain their unchecked control and distract us from the costs, chaos, and corruption they have created for working families. But when we build community together, surrounded by fighters, they cannot beat us.
And thank you to the Young Democrats of Louisiana for speaking about voter protection and to all of the vendors involved, from the music to the food to the beautiful backdrop of the Old State Capitol. It was a wonderful evening.
