Team member Lauren Pendas accepted the 2026 NSAA Excellence in Accountability Award on behalf of Performance Audit Services at the NSAA annual conference in Tacoma, Wash., earlier this month. This is the second year in a row Performance Audit has won this award. Lauren also gave a presentation on Performance Audit's winning report -- Oversight of the Louisiana Oilfield Restoration Association's (LORA) Efforts to Address Orphaned Oil and Gas Wells (https://LLA.La.gov/go/DADLFK?Open) -- during one of the conference's sessions.
