o support hurting, helpless and hopeless children, youth and families from low to moderate income levels to achieve a better life and future. We provide basic needs assistance and individualized and group resources and referral services in a compassionate, caring and confidential manner through the programs offer throughout the year at the Center. Hurt, Help, Heal, Hope(IV-H Home Retreat Center), Inc. has been serving as the primary social services agency in rural East Baton Rouge Parish area since 2007. Our primary focus is to provide basic needs assistance, individualized and group resources and referral services to needy children, youth, families and the elderly. Basic needs assistance, individualized and group resources can include the provision of afterschool and weekend tutoring, homework and special classroom subject project assignment help; holiday, weekend and summer camps, special classroom subject project assignment help; holiday, weekend and summer Camps, food from our on-site food pantry, assistance with school uniforms and supplies. In addition, we also provide program assistance to help our clients move toward greater self-sufficiency, including providing either individualized or group personal development programs that teach skills such as computer training for beginners, volunteer community service training, GED preparation assistance, financial planning, health and nutrition education, fitness training, legal resource assistance, community gardening, organizational development and career development seminars.
