Of the five name tropical storms so far this year, three (Arthur, Bertha, Edouard) have had an impact on Louisiana.
⛈️ 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗵𝘂𝗿 (June): Widespread heavy rainfall, localized flash flooding across portions of Louisiana.
⛈️ 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗮 (July): Made landfall in St. Bernard Parish, pushing storm surge and heavy rain across southeastern Louisiana.
⛈️ 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗘𝗱𝗼𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱 (August/Sept): Could possibly reach Category 1 strength, bringing rain, winds up to 40 mph and coastal impacts to western LA and E. Texas.
