Three bills could’ve made groceries for Louisianans cheaper and more fairly-priced failed to pass or were deferred in House Commerce Committee this week.
 
House Bill 800 by Rep. Alonzo Knox failed to pass, while House Bill 471 by Rep. Edmond Jordan and Senate Bill 362 by Sen. Royce Duplessis were deferred after heavy opposition. We hope to re-visit these policies in the future.

Loyola & I-10 intersection vs cancelling a “free trial”, which is more confusing

House Bill 750 by Rep. Cox (R-Gretna) would require companies to make ending subscriptions as easy as signing up for them, and to make cancellation available through the same method as sign up—so if you sign up online you can cancel online.
