Doug and his team are honored by the victory and look forward to serving the public for four more years. It was a pleasure running a positive campaign profiling the many good things Doug has accomplished and will continue to thanks to all of the support. As he and some of the election crew leave after closing down, he wants to say thanks again for the honor of continuing to serve!

While the campaign committee handles last minute outreach,, Doug is busy fulfilling his duties as Chief Election Officer for the parish. The Elections Department is located at the Airline branch, seen here as Doug returns to the office with Eric Coleman.

With just under 4 hours left until the voting polls close, we are reminding those who haven’t to take advantage of the opportunity. Doug and his team would appreciate the honor of continuing to provide the public with the quality service they deserve. Doug thanks you for all of the support, good wishes and prayers received during this campaign and remember to vote 94!

Over the years, we have seen our volumes become digital, available at the touch of a button, while preserving the history so important to us. We have worked together so that each and every person we serve knows how much we appreciate them. Progress has been steady, but the goal remains the same: whether we assist you once every few years or several times a week, we will serve you with a smile so that you leave with one too. I would appreciate the honor of continuing our work to bring you the office you deserve and the privilege of your vote this Saturday, Oct 14th.

Early voting has officially ended and the last 24 hours have been active. The Pastor’s Anniversary banquet for Reverend Gil Wright was a wonderful celebration Friday evening; Saturday morning saw the street crews being welcomed by a supportive public all over town and Doug’s sponsorship at the St. George fair was a tribute to his beloved maternal grandparents and other family members, who were devoted parishioners there for many years. Moving toward Election Day, Doug and the team are in continuous appreciation for the widespread support!

Doug is beyond honored to receive the endorsement and support of longtime friend, retired Senator Yvonne Dorsey Colomb, who served with distinction for 12 years in the Senate and 15 years in the House. Doug and the team are very grateful and they know that it comes “Straight from the Heart!”

Honks, waves, thumbs ups and “we got yous” were the order of the day as the our crews were out to greet passersby on the kick off day of early voting. Thanks to all our volunteers, who were rewarded with cool breezes and a tremendous amount of positive feedback from the public across the parish!
