GEO Prep Academy of Greater Baton Rouge GEO Academies offer innovative K-16 pathways with personalized, research-based learning. GEO Prep opened in 2015 on Platt Drive with 150 students in grades K–3.

From kindergarten, students accelerate into free college & career high schools, graduating with a degree or certification for a head start on postsecondary success. As enrollment grew, we moved to the former King of France Catholic School on Sherwood. Today, GEO Prep serves more than 750 K–8 students, has been recognized as a Top Gains Honoree four years in a row, and holds a “B” rating from the Louisiana Department of Education. GEO Prep Academy prepares students to seamlessly accelerate into its free college and career immersion high school, GEO Next Generation.

📚 Get Ready for Adventures in Reading! 📚

Geo Prep Upper Academy Families, our Scholastic Book Fair is coming next week—Monday, September 28 through Friday, October 2!

Students will have an opportunity to explore exciting stories, discover new interests, and choose books they will enjoy reading.

Parents may create a Scholastic eWallet account for their student. eWallet is a safe, convenient, and cash-free way for your child to shop. Family members and friends may also contribute funds to the student’s account.

➡️ Create your student’s eWallet here: https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/geoprepacadgrtrbatonrouge

Any unused eWallet funds can be saved for future Scholastic purchases.

Our goal is for every student to leave the Book Fair with a book. Let’s begin an unforgettable reading adventure! 🚀📖
