This law expands the definition of disturbing the peace to cover disruptive behavior at worship services; with penalties including a minimum 30-day jail sentence for those convicted. This bill closes a dangerous loophole that allowed individuals convicted of aggravated offenses against children to be granted bail while their cases were still pending. No child's abuser should be living near their victim. Louisiana just made sure of that.
