Congrats to our Case Manager Cameron Dawson for completing the training to become a Certified Community Health Worker. He will be working collaboratively with other CHWs to provide holistic case management services.

“It was an honor and a privilege to be a part of this extensive 18 week training to become a Certified Community Health Worker. I am excited to be able to serve our clients in new ways including motivational interviewing and active listening. In addition to learning new tools to support our consumers, this course also granted me the opportunity to practice and hone in on several skills that I was already implementing in day-to-day encounters. I have a newfound appreciation for what we do as community partners and hope to continue to learn and grow as a Case Manager to help break down these barriers that hinder the lifestyles of the people we serve.”

We took a field trip to the Critchlow Alligator Sanctuary this morning! The "E" in SHARE Center stands for Enrichment. Providing clients with opportunities they may not otherwise have is an important part of the recovery process. Everyone had a great time learning about alligators and even got to hold a baby gator. Even better, both the Alligator Sanctuary and B Wright There Transportation are locally, veteran owned and operated.

Thank you Create In Me LLC for hosting a Tiny Art workshop at the SHARE Center this morning. Some of these tiny paintings will be entered into a contest and might be displayed at the Willard Library Everyone had a great time!
