What an incredible day of learning, networking, and meaningful conversation right here in Battle Creek! 🙌✨

The Battle Creek Community Foundation was thrilled to host our philanthropy colleagues from community foundations across Southwest Michigan for the bi-annual Southwest Michigan Development Gathering. 🤝🌎

Throughout the day, we shared ideas, explored opportunities, learned from one another, and engaged in thoughtful dialogue about the work we do — and how we can continue strengthening philanthropy and the communities we serve. 💡💬

There’s something powerful about bringing people together who share a commitment to making their communities stronger. When we exchange knowledge, build relationships, and collaborate across communities, EVERYONE benefits. 💙

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the gathering such an energizing and productive experience! 👏 We’re already looking forward to continuing the conversation at the Spring gathering, hosted by the Community Foundation for Muskegon County.

🚚☀️ THIS is what community looks like in Battle Creek!

We stopped by McCamly Park today for the final Truckin’ Tuesdays of the 2026 season, and what a beautiful day to get outside, grab some lunch and enjoy our community! 🌮🍴💚

Food trucks were lined up, people were catching up with friends and coworkers, and downtown Battle Creek was alive with another one of those simple experiences that brings people together.

At the Battle Creek Community Foundation, we love seeing people gather, local businesses connect with customers, and our public spaces filled with life. Strong communities are built in many ways — and sometimes it starts with good food, a sunny afternoon and neighbors spending a little time together. ❤️

🤍✨ A beautiful evening. A wonderful cause. And a BCCF team proud to show up in support! ✨🤍

The Battle Creek Community Foundation was delighted to be represented at The White Party — Just Jazz Signature Fundraiser 2026, hosted by the Kalamazoo (MI) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated at the spectacular Gilmore Car Museum. 🚘🎶💚

BCCF President & CEO Mary Muliett , along with Lynn Ward Gray , Emily Deering-Caruso, Maya Williams, and Elizabeth Schultheiss , enjoyed an amazing evening together — all while showing their support for students and the programs and initiatives that help create opportunities for young people. 🎓🌟📚

With an elegant sea of white, a fantastic Motown R***e, great fellowship, and plenty of fun, the evening was a beautiful reminder that supporting our communities can also mean celebrating together. 🤍🎵💃🏾✨

At BCCF, we believe in showing up — for our students, for our community partners, and for organizations doing meaningful work throughout our region. 🤝💙💚 Building stronger communities happens through relationships, collaboration, and a shared commitment to helping people thrive.

🎉 WHAT AN AFTERNOON FOR BATTLE CREEK! 🎉

Yesterday’s Battle Creek Community Foundation Annual Meeting brought our community together in a BIG way! 🧡💙

With rain in the forecast, we made the move inside to Kellogg Arena — and what happened inside was something special. 🙌🏽

Community leaders, nonprofit partners, businesses, donors, friends and neighbors filled the arena with conversation, connection, celebration and a shared commitment to the future of Battle Creek. 🤝🏽✨

We celebrated people. We celebrated partnerships. We celebrated impact. And most importantly, we celebrated COMMUNITY. ❤️
