As part of construction safety week, we teamed up with Consumers Energy, Johnstown Fire Department, and Lifecare Ambulance to simulate a medical emergency at one of their solar fields.

Today for drill we reviewed water supply and pumping. Getting water to a fire and making sure there is a steady supply is essential for an effective fire attack.

Today for drill we trained on ice water rescue. We hope everyone stays safe on the ice, but in case something goes wrong we will be prepared.

Today for drill we practiced donning our gear(putting it on), hooking up buddy breathers, and then rescuing a firefighter in distress. The video is us finding the downed firefighter and hooking them up with a buddy breather while blindfolded.

Today we had the privilege of honoring Mr. Richard Campbell on his 100th birthday! Rebecca deFinta from Senior Services shared the celebration with us and will be interviewing Mr. Campbell for an article. Congratulations Mr. Campbell!
