Join us at the BGRC Meeting this week, to hear from Elizabeth Struchen, Walk Manager for Alzheimer's Association, who will be joining us to talk about the upcoming walk, and the impact of Alzheimer's to families.
We meet at Galeotti's, on Main St in Battle Ground at 5:00 for social time, then meet from 5:30-6:30.

This last week we had a really Amazing speaker, Ron Gladden, talk about the accomplishments that his organization Ourganda has made towards curbing the domestic violence, child s*x abuse and poverty, that is part of their culture. Through the use of peer pressure, legal agreements, and supporting agencies, they’re changing the lives of children and adults in 17 villages now hoping to get to 100.

Join us on this Wednesday, 8/12, at Galeotti's for the BGRC Meeting at 5:00 - 6:30. In addition to meeting some really fun people, our speaker will be Ron Gladden, Founder and Director of Ourganda, an organization that is working in Uganda to stop domestic violence, s*xual violence against children and teaches financial literacy classes, empowers families to start micro-businesses, and has established micro-banks in 17 villages.

Rotarians at work! Rotarians from three different rotary clubs, Battle Ground Rotary, Club, Vancouver sSunrise, and Three Creeks Rotary in Ridgefield, picked blueberries at Majestic Farms yesterday and this morning for a donation from Majestic Farms Blueberries (owned by a Battle Ground Rotarian), to give to the North County Community Food Bank!
