Thank you to everyone who came to Lewisville Park; we loved meeting your significant others and kids!

Hi everyone,
-Looks like it will be a great day but hot… Bring your swimsuit:)
-Good news is the central shelter is surrounded by huge trees so there’s plenty of shade, it should be several degrees cooler down in the park
-The shelter has outlets for crockpots etc, and a stainless steel countertop and sink with running water if you would like to do food preparation there
-I think the main challenge will be parking; The park was already hopping at 7:30 this morning. If you can carpool, great, otherwise you may have to walk a little bit to get to the Central shelter
-Entrance to the park is $3 per carload and there is a credit card reader at the gate
-Remember that it is bring your own food and water; there are barbecue stands, or bring a table top propane grill, Coleman, etc
-No alcohol allowed in the park
-We are next to the tennis courts and fields and just above the huge trees and swings, so bring the whole family
-We have a water balloon toss and cardboard airplane-making and a hay scramble with candy and coins for the kids:)
-Group photo around 5pm
-Hope to see many of you there! Park closes at dusk so we can go around 3 PM until dusk
-Any other questions please ask here and I will try to get back to you:) -Tim

Hi all, I stopped in at Northwood Public House yesterday, and talked to the owner. Since it is more of a restaurant with little booths everywhere, and it will be very full on Friday night, we settled on us using the porch area. Not really reserved, but he said he’ll send Battle Ground people out that way, so we can kind of have a spot unless it gets way too busy. Here’s a picture of it, it does have umbrellas but I wanted to warn you to dress cool since it may still be warm! I was there at 5:30 yesterday and it wasn’t too bad. Of course if you would rather go inside in small groups and have a booth that is totally fine:)
See you Friday around 7pm! -Tim

Hi everyone! We are just over a month away from the reunion! Remember it is July 29-30 in Battle Ground. We sent out an email last night (you may have gotten two...sorry about that!) to try to spread the word to those who may not be on Facebook. If you did not receive an email and would like to, please go to https://bghs2001.com/
and sign up for updates. You can also forward the email on to anyone else you may know from our class who has not heard about the reunion:)
Hope to see many of you there, looking forward to it!

Happy New Year everyone! Hope you are all doing well. We just got done with 3 days of 85mph winds and 0 degrees in Palmer, Alaska, resulting in -35 wind chill and 58 hours without electricity. Grateful for wood stoves & generators for sure. Lots of property damage, but thankful that there has been no loss of life.
Remember, as you start to book your leave dates or vacation times for 2022, consider being in Battle Ground July 29-31 for the 21-year reunion this summer! We would love to see as many of you as possible, catch up in person, and enjoy Lewisville Park together.
More details will be coming later on in the Spring, but please save the date! Sincerely, Tim LeCount
