Wolf Park was closed on Christmas Day but Monty and Dan made sure that all of our animals got treat boxes so that their Christmas would be special.

Wolf Park held their annual Turkey Toss on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. All the animals got special treats- the wolves and foxes got whole chickens, the bison got boxes of sweet feed and some pumpkins. On a beautiful fall afternoon, the large crowd enjoyed seeing the positive effects of the environmental enrichment that Wolf Park offers their captive residents.

July is National Bison Month- Wolf Park has proudly presented bison for most of its 50 years. Celebrate with a special Bison Tour this Saturday, July 9 at 10 am! Make your reservations at Wolf Park’s website. You might see bison dance!

It's World Turtle Day- you can rescue distressed wildlife by contacting the nearest experts and taking their advice. Lauren knows how to help this misguided snapping turtle without harm to either species.
